Bought this saw just for odds and end jobs and was tired of stringing extension. I chose skill because it was less expensive than most. At first, I had some reservations. However, now that Ive use the saw, Im very impressed and would not waste more money on anything else. Ive been ripping Walnut and Oak boards with ease and cross-cutting as well. I didnt realize but id picked up a saw with blade on left instead of right but Im getting use to it. Id buy this saw again
